Developed through statewide collaboration and human-centered design, the Portrait serves as a foundation for reimagining educational systems that are more coherent, equitable, and future-focused.
In this keynote session, Dr. Jonah Schenker will explore the story behind New York's Portrait of a Graduate, how it was developed, and why it represents much more than a graduate profile. Participants will examine how the Portrait can serve as a catalyst for designing learning systems that align experiences, competencies, opportunities, and supports around the futures we want for every learner.
Through storytelling, reflection, and practical examples, attendees will explore:
